Why this part is valuable as a core
On the pressure plate, diaphragm spring and friction surface are renewed; the cover stays. On the DMF, springs, bearing and seal are replaced and the mass rebalanced.
Commercial vehicle clutches are large, expensive and run high mileages. Their reman value is correspondingly high.
What we buy
- Pressure plates for cars, vans, trucks and buses
- Dual-mass flywheels (DMF) for cars and vans
- Clutch discs (by arrangement, type-sorted)
- Complete clutch kits from vehicle dismantling
- Clutches for agricultural and construction machinery on request
Typical failure causes that make a core valuable
- Worn or broken diaphragm spring of the pressure plate
- Play and rattling in the dual-mass flywheel
- Grease leakage from the DMF after overheating
- Heat cracks and distortion of the friction surface
Acceptance criteria
- Pressure plate: cover without cracks, diaphragm spring not broken
- DMF: not opened, no leaked grease filling
- Ring gear on flywheel complete
- Heat cracks on the friction surface are acceptable
- Manufacturer or OE number legible
Questions about this part
Do you buy worn clutch discs?
Only together with pressure plates or by arrangement. The reman focus is on pressure plates and DMFs.
Do you accept dual-mass flywheels with play?
Yes. Play and noise are the typical failure reasons of a DMF and are corrected during remanufacturing.
Do you also buy truck clutches?
Yes, commercial vehicle clutches are among the most sought-after cores.
